Two Parks – Choose The Park That’s Right For You!
Bear Paw RV Park has two great locations to choose from. Both of our campgrounds are centrally located near downtown Valdez.
Our original RV Park in the heart of downtown offers exceptional camping for families. Our second location, Bear Paw II is just a couple of blocks away, and it’s a quiet, adults-only park.
At both of our RV Parks, you’ll be just steps away from restaurants, shops, boat tours, and more. Choose the campground that’s right for you and plan your next adventure.
Bear Paw Family RV Park
The Bear Paw RV Park is one of the best Valdez campgrounds. This family RV park is across the street from the small boat harbor, with spectacular views of Prince William Sound and the surrounding mountains. It’s near the small boat harbor and right in the heart of the action.
This is our original RV Park, and it is located in downtown Valdez, so you’ll be close to everything.
Full Services
Bear Paw Family RV Park offers a full range of services. This includes gravel sites with hookups, wi-fi, and on-site coin-operated laundry services. Washrooms, showers, and laundry machines are all well-maintained and ready for use.
Bear Paw II Adults-Only Park: RVs and Tents
Our second park is an adults-only campground. Located on the waterfront, this RV and tenting park gives you all the comfort of a quiet RV park and campground. Enjoy spectacular views of the harbor from your site, and take in the sound of the waves and the smell of the sea. This campground gives you a scenic view of the Sound and all the peace and quiet you need after a day of exploring.
Bear Paw II is just a few minutes from downtown, so you’ll still have easy access to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. This spacious campground also includes secluded tent sites in a wooded area separate from RVs, as well as larger sites to accommodate groups.

What People Are Saying
“Bear Paw RV Park has two locations in Valdez. One is downtown close to the Fat Mermaid Restaurant and the other is about two blocks from downtown. The second location is for adults only and overlooks the ocean. Beautiful view! There are 4 shower rooms – very clean and not metered. There are 4 washers and 4 dryers. The owners are very nice and super friendly. They have bunnies in the park and a seagull named Lucy on a nest. If you are visiting Valdez in your RV – Bear Paw is the best park to stay at.” – Jeanette
“We couldn’t have been happier when we stayed here. Very courteous and friendly staff, clean and modern facility. The showers and restrooms are very clean. This entire RV park is very inviting and relaxing. Within walking distance of stores and restaurants, and all of downtown Valdez. Highly recommended!” – Gigi
“Bear Paw II offers the most scenic sites in Valdez. Valdez is filled with RV parks which are all parking lots with utility posts. But Bear Paw offers fabulous views and verdant spots on the harbor. All facilities are in top shape: utility posts are painted shiny red, nearby buildings are dripping with giant pots of flowers, every washing machine and dryer is working, iron and ironing board is out for use. We were impressed and only wish we could have spent another day sitting by the bay watching the boats go in and out of the harbor- the best campground in Valdez.” – Mary
